"Some left with full hearts, one left with a new home"

Our visit to SPCA Windhoek was truly eye-opening.

Behind every animal is a story — some are surrendered, some abandoned, and some arrive sick, injured, frightened, or simply in need of care. The SPCA Windhoek team carries that responsibility every single day with compassion, strength, and an incredible amount of heart.

Their work is not always easy

Some decisions are deeply difficult, but they remain focused on doing what is best for each animal while continuing to care for the many others that need help. As an NGO, they rely heavily on donations, support, and meaningful partnerships to keep going.

Puppy gets the CEO treatment

For our team, it was a special experience to spend time with these beautiful animals — holding them, comforting them, and seeing firsthand the care they receive. And in a moment that made the day even more special, our CEO—Rayno Burger, who is a regular adopter, chose to give one of the puppies a new home. Some left with full hearts, one left with a new home.💖
