Technical Business Analyst

Windhoek, Namibia

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst that will be able to study and redesign computer systems, applications, and processes in order to provide expert analysis on business systems and applications for our internal and external clients. 


Our new Technical Business Analyst should be able to study computer hardware and software to identify problems and create new programs as well as avail over both computer programming skills and business knowledge in order to perform well in this position.



Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs

Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for our client’s

Determine operational objectives by studying clients’ business functions, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats

Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, writing specifications

Understanding and creating detailed technical scope documentation based on our clients’ requirements

Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team, establishing project budget

Financial modelling where required

Testing and evaluating new programs

Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these

Provide internal IT support and managing web-based services and customer support

Report regularly to Management as well as clients;

contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed


Defining business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholders

Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential

Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions

Must Have

Ability to work well under pressure;

a passion for solving problems and providing workable solutions

Knowledge of algorithms and data structures

Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualise processes and outcomes

Basic programming experience

Knowledge of databases and operating systems

Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly

Ability to guide developers and work in a team environment

Outstanding all-round communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
